AI companions raise new questions about wellbeing, consent and data. Our advisory board is a group of outside experts who review product decisions before they ship and tell us, plainly, when we get something wrong.
Mental health & wellbeing
Healthy use, emotional reliance and how characters respond when someone is struggling.

Age assurance, abuse prevention and how reports are triaged and resolved.
Privacy & data protection
What we store, for how long, and how people stay in control of their data.
Ethics & creator rights
Consent around likeness, fair treatment of creators and transparency about AI.
What the board does
- Reviews new features that change how characters talk, remember or generate media.
- Audits our content rules and the way reports are handled, at least twice a year.
- Publishes a short, unedited summary of its recommendations and our responses.
How members are chosen
Members are invited for a two-year term, are paid for their time at a flat rate and hold no equity in Ayomi AI. Their recommendations are not subject to our approval before publication.
